X.S. SMITH, INC. is a fourth generation family owned and operated company specializing in greenhouse structures and horticultural products. Incorporated by X. S. Smith, himself, in 1946, the company established itself as a leader in the horticultural products field. Associations with regional and national universities, as well as other research facilities, created opportunities for the company to develop new products for its customers in the horticultural market.

In 1983, X.S. Executive Vice President Scott Thompson currently serves on the NGMA Board of Directors as the most recent Past President. Skip Smith is a former president of the NGMA as well.
